Our first trip back in five years – what with COVID and other complications – but Cape Riviera still worked its magic – great location and views, lovely, well-appointed rooms and a fabulous can-do customer service culture.
Owen and his wife Suzanne preside benignly over this wonderful oasis together with their expert staff, for whom nothing is ever too much trouble. For us, at the end of a three-week Southern Africa tour, it was the perfect place to relax and depressurise in cosseting luxury.
Still my first choice for pampering peaceful lodgings in the Cape Town City Bowl, with those wonderful views – Table Mountain or over the City, depending on the room you pick. Must hurry back soon.
